Scripture Memory

How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping it according to Your word. With all my heart I have sought You; Do not let me wander from Your commandments. Your word I have treasured in my heart, That I may not sin against You.

Psalm 119.9-11

Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.

James 5.16

Reflection

Some experiences turn you on and capture your attention, while others turn you off or bore you to tears. When you were growing up, you may have discovered that you were intensely interested in some subjects that no one else in your family cared about. Where did those interests come from? They came from God! He gave them to you for a reason, and he wants you to use them to serve others.
