Dear FBC Student Ministry Family,
As you know, we are again in a time of transition as Logan and Blair Lamb have accepted a position in Kentucky. We will begin immediately with the task of searching for a new Student Minister at FBC Corsicana.
I want to begin by stating that these are exciting days for our church. It is a time of knowing we are in God’s hands. It is a time of remembering how God has faithfully provided in the past and will certainly provide again. It is also a time to dream again, strengthen, and come together as a Student Ministry.
That is why I am writing…the Personnel Committee and Staff have already been hard at work to make sure our students are at the center of our focus. I would like to invite you to a Student Ministry-wide meeting this Wednesday, April 7 at 6pm in the Youth Room of the FLC. This meeting is for students, parents, and volunteers. We would like to introduce you to our Interim Student Minister who will serve with us as we seek the new, full-time person. We also would like to preview a new, improved plan for Sunday mornings. In addition, we would like to share where we are going in the days ahead.
I love you deeply, and I am committed to seeing our Student Ministry be the best in town. I am proud to be your pastor at FBC, and I look forward to seeing you on Wednesday evening!
