A Word from the Pastor

Welcome to worship with the First Baptist Family!

If you are our guest, we are thankful you are here.

This morning, we are diving back into our sermon series titled “Beyond Conversion,” and today our focus will be on SERVING! We’re going to talk about the simple things and the little things…feeding the hungry, clothing the poor, befriending the lonely, visiting the sick, and ministering to the imprisoned. These are things that all of us can do!

As I prepared this sermon, I’ve been reminded as your pastor that the most important things are not administrating, organizing ministries & building buildings. No, the most important things are the little things, where I touch people…feeding, clothing, visiting, and befriending. The same is true for you.

And because of this, I want to ask you to consider going on our next Mission Trip to Arlington. It’s a one day trip on Saturday, Oct. 7.Bring your kids and your family. This trip is for all ages & I want us to take 40-50 people. Please sign-up today!

Serving with you,
Dr. Reeves
