A Word from the Pastor
Good morning & welcome to worship!
Did you realize that the primary function of Christ is not to change a person’s circumstances, but rather to change the person? It’s true! When a person becomes a Christian, they still live in the same house with the same spouse (maybe with the same parents) in the same neighborhood. They probably still work with the same job in the same office. They still go to school with the same classmates.
When you become a Christian the only thing that is changed is YOU! So…You’re primary objective shouldn’t be to try to change your circumstances. Rather, it should be to live for Jesus where you are!
We need to be a Christian where we live, where we work and where we play. If you can’t be a Christian in those places, then there’s something wrong with your Christianity.
Today, we continue in our sermon series titled, “Beyond Conversion…There is ____________” We will fill in the blank this morning with “LIVING”
Let’s dive in!
