Worship

By Victoria Bailey

A Word from Our Youth Minister

Disciple Now was amazing and God is just so good. We had about 40 students involved in this weekend. Garrett Ferris and his band from Providence Church in Frisco did a phenomenal job with worship. A huge thank you to the five guest leaders Alex Bean, Gabe Galan, Kayleigh Lesco, Ryan Reeves, and Brittany Rollins for sacrificing a weekend of their time to pour into our students. Another huge thanks to the Capeharts, Fitzhughs, Heards, Richters, and Reeves for opening their homes to the students!

Thank you to Bob & Donna O’Toole for cooking dinner on Friday night, the deacon body for cooking breakfast on Saturday morning, Armando Arroyo and Rebecca Clopp helping serve at all the meals, Bobby & Cathy Byrne helping in the booth for all three worship services, and Krissi Bentz for being our photographer and videographer for the weekend.

On top of these people, this weekend cannot happen without the gracious and generous hearts of the congregation for donating food for the week. Thank you to the Adult #4 class, Chris & Whitney Abbe, Belinda Adams, Debbie Bigler, Shelby Cruz, Nancy Dighton, Jerry Eddins, Jo Beth Ellis, Caroline Fullerton, Deadra Gage, Susie Harrington, Phillip Keltner, Tom Lucas, Camille McClanahan, Ed & Terri Miller, Gary & Kathy Pillans, Courtney Prater, Cindy Reuter, Anele Richardson, Kent & Jan Richey, Kari Richter, Cindy Shelton, Linda Williams, Terry Williams, Patti Woodall, and Chris Woolsey & Collin St Bakery.

I praise God that I get to work in a church that has so many people that pour their own resources and prayers into the Student Ministry. I’m so thankful for the support and from the bottom of my heart I am so thankful for each and every single one of you here at FBC.

Praise to God alone!

Tim Hite, Youth Minister
