A WORD FROM OUR PASTOR
Good morning, FBC Family!!
I love our new sermon series. It’s called “Back to the B.A.S.I.C.S.” We are talking about the core values of a healthy church. By the way, some churches today are sick and dying, and some are healthy and alive! Do you know the difference? Here’s a good list:
- Dead churches are quiet; live churches have lots of noisy kids.
- Dead churches are rigid and unchanging; live churches are constantly changing.
- Dead churches worship the “good old days;” live churches are looking to the future.
- Dead churches don’t need much money; live churches constantly need money.
- Dead churches are filled with “tippers;” live churches are filled with tithers.
- Dead churches have empty pews and empty rooms; live churches are constantly building.
- Dead churches say, “We can’t;” live churches say, “We can’t but God can!”
- Dead churches fossilize; live churches evangelize.
Let’s dive in today and adopt the early church in Acts 2 as our model for ministry!

Good News Club
