Worship

A WORD FROM OUR PASTOR

Welcome to worship! We are thrilled you are here. God is at work at FBC!

Rather than preview the sermon for you this morning, I want to celebrate with you and give you a challenge. Well over a decade ago, FBC entered a building campaign that required us to take out a loan of $2.6 million dollars.  We have paid faithfully on this loan, and as of today we have it down to only $130,000! That’s the celebration! Thank you for your faithfulness and generosity.  But now…the challenge. We have seven weeks until Easter. Would you join with me in getting this debt retired in the next seven weeks, so we can rejoice with a “note burning” on Easter Sunday? Give as God leads your heart to give.  Designate your extra gifts to “Building for Our Future!” Let’s do this together!

Thankful for our church family,

PURSUING PEACE EFFORTS

Remember our church-wide assignment. We will continue over the next three weeks. This assignment can be picked up in the Church Office. Please be faithful to participate EVERY SINGLE DAY. Also, mark your calendars for March 23 when we begin Phase 2.

Children’s Ministry News

Sunday Morning (Sunday School) 9:45-10:45

This week we get to learn about how Jesus took his time to heal Bartimaeus. I am so glad that the Lord takes time for me, and I hope that I can make time to help others in need. Speaking of time, we are looking at the possibility of a time to start our Kids Praise (children’s worship) back up soon. If you are interested in being a part of this great ministry to our kids, please contact me. I can let you know what we hope it will look like and the process for helping with our children’s program. Kids, be sure to join us weekly for Sunday School and Cultivate. Have a wonderful week!

Also, we have set dates for some of our Summer Activities:

FROG Camp (K-2nd)
June 13-16
Preteen Camp (3rd-6th)
June 27-30
VBS/VBX (K-6th)
July 17-21

Bus Ministry

There are two ways to help our bus ministry. First, you can drive a bus route. Second, you can pick someone up on your way to church. Don’t let the lack of transportation keep someone from experiencing the blessing of Christian fellowship. To help, contact the Church Office or Stan Osborne.
