A WORD FROM OUR PASTOR

I am so thankful to see you today!  I want to say how happy I am to be back in the pulpit this morning after my recent surgery.  Thank you for praying for me!  God has answered our prayers! Amen!

This morning we are going to talk a little bit about depression. This is an issue for some of us. At times you feel a little discouraged and a little depressed. If that’s true for you, then God’s Word has something to say to you today! I also want you to know that if you have gone through times of depression, you’re not alone.

Last, thank you to everyone who chose to participate in the Pursuing Peace Together efforts. God is at work in our church.

We are in His hands, Bro. Danny

PURSUING PEACE EFFORTS

FBC was blessed with a good Phase 1 of Pursuing Peace. Remember that we have been given a church-wide assignment that lasts for the next 4 weeks.  This assignment is available on the landing outside the sanctuary. Please be faithful to participate EVERY SINGLE DAY. Also, mark your calendars for March 23 when we begin Phase 2.

Wednesday Night (SHOUT Choir/Cultivate) 6:00-7:30

We had blast this Wednesday in SHOUT and Cultivate singing and playing games to learn about what is in God’s word, so be sure to come by and bring a friend if you want to have some fun!

P.S. Be sure to ask those who were there how we can all win a pizza party!

Sunday Morning (Sunday school) 9:45-10:45

In our Sunday lesson we get to see how one boy gave what he had, and Jesus was able to feed about 5000 men with just that little bit offered to him. We are learning about how we can use what we have: a note, a talent, our time, a smile, or anything else we can think of to help others and show them we care. It doesn’t have to be much because God can do a lot with just a little! So come show us what you have to share each Sunday and we can celebrate all that God can do together!
