A Word from Our Pastor
Good morning, FBC!!
I welcome you to worship today. What an opportunity we have to give our best to God today. I know He is ready to receive our praise, and He is ready to convict our hearts and draw us into His presence.
Today, we move forward in our study of the Gospel of Mark by entering into Chapter 14. Remember, when we arrived in Chapter 11 we entered into the final week of Jesus’ life. Six full chapters of this Gospel are committed to one single week of the earthly life of Jesus.
This morning, the intensity increases as we arrive at Jesus’ experience in the Garden of Gethsemane. In every war, there’s a turning point that changes the course of history. And in the battle for our hearts and souls, I believe the most important battle was fought in
Gethsemane. Jesus was yet to be crucified, but I believe the real battle took place that night in the Garden.
PS…Praise God for our church’s commitment to LIFE!! Please be a part of the Baby Bottle Boomerang which supports our local Hope Center!
