A Word from Our Pastor

Good morning, FBC!

First of all, I can’t help but celebrate all you have accomplished as a church family. We just completed our efforts with Operation Christmas Child (The Christmas shoe boxes), and our goal was 575 boxes brought independently with another 225 to be prepared at our church-wide packing party…GOAL: 800. That was a challenging goal to say the least;; however, you shattered it by producing 870 shoeboxes!!!! Wow! I am so proud and thankful for you and your commitment to see children around the world hear about our Lord Jesus! Let’s be praying for these boxes.

Now for the BIG news! Executives from Operation Christmas Child have reported that across the world they have seen up to 10 people accept Christ as Savior from EACH BOX! Can you believe that? That means due to your efforts, up to 8700 might get saved! I am humbled. I am excited. I am emotionally thankful.

Thank you, FBC, for all you do to share the message of Jesus. Thank you to Nanette Bray, our leader, that guides us in these efforts. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for caring about lost souls. We are an Acts 1:8 church. Let’s keep bringing them in, building them up, and sending them out for the glory of God!

Your pastor,
Dr. Danny P. Reeves
