Good morning, FBC!
We are at the end of another year and a sermon series. Today is the fourth and final sermon in our series, Angels All Around Us.
Our topic today is “The Message of Angels,” and we will look at the 3 most common messages from angels.
At the end we will overview our series for final lessons. Also, please enjoy the additional lesson on angels I’ve printed for you today.

Ron & Eston have been previously ordained. The other men will be ordained during a special service on Sunday, January 21.

Disciple now (january 13-14)
We will need to prepare meals for 100 teens. If you could help with donations we need the following: frozen lasagnas, hamburger buns, cheese slices, assorted chips, desserts, salad kits, garlic bread, brownies and cookies. We can also use 2 liter drinks.

Children’s Ministry
Kidspraise
No KidsPraise will be offered during the 11am service. Parents should sign in kids on the landing before service or when dismissed. Pick-up is on the 4th floor. Also, parents may pick up an activity packet for their child outside the Sanctuary doors.

Good News Cafe/closet
We will resume our Café and Closet on Monday, January 9.
Safety Team
Team members work to provide a safe environment for church members during worship services and other church events. This team also provides leadership during emergency situations.
Guest Services
Team members assist families with check-in, collect information from guests, and help guide visitors to the appropriate class or group.
Good News Club
Sam Houston| January 23 thru February 27
We need additional volunteers for the spring semester.
Team members help lead a Bible club for various CISD Elementary Schools in the Fall and Spring. To help, contact Michelle Purifoy.
Baptist Student ministry
We will be serving a lunch to the BSM on Wednesday, January 17. We need volunteers to help serve and prepare or purchase desserts (cookies or brownies). Bring desserts to the FLC by Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
