A Word from the Pastor

Welcome to First Baptist Church!

God’s Spirit is working among us, and I want to invite you to join with me today as we continue in the sermon series that we started 2 Sundays ago. The title of the sermon series is“Beyond Conversion,” and the heart of this series is about spiritual growth.

You see, many people accept Jesus as Savior, but they never grow as Christians. They never move beyond their conversion. They accept Christ, but they never learn how to live the Christian life. This sermon series is all about teaching us how to live the Christian life.

The specific title of today’s is…

Beyond Conversion…There is Worshipping!

Here’s the deal…Many people today believe that they don’t need the Church. Maybe they’ve been turned off by “Organized Religion.”

But please listen to me…

Anyone serious about living for Jesus and growing to spiritual maturity needs the church.”

It’s always been that way. It will always be that way because the Bible knows nothing of a church-less Christianity. Today, we will learn key reasons we should be committed to coming to church!

Proud to be your pastor,
Bro. Danny
