Prayer

  1. Pray and Seek God

“There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven— A time to give birth and a time to die; A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted. A time to kill and a time to heal; A time to tear down and a time to build up. A time to weep and a time to laugh; A time to mourn and a time to dance. A time to throw stones and a time to gather stones; A time to embrace and a time to shun embracing. A time to search and a time to give up as lost; A time to keep and a time to throw away. A time to tear apart and a time to sew together; A time to be silent and a time to speak. A time to love and a time to hate; A time for war and a time for peace.”

‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3:1-8‬ ‭NASB‬‬

This is a time as never before!
This is a time of war against the forces of evil!
This is a time to speak up!
This is the TIME to PRAY!!!!

2. Pray for the supreme court nominee, Amy Coney Barrett.

Arise, O LORD, in Your anger; Lift up Yourself against the rage of my adversaries, And arouse Yourself for me; You have appointed judgment. The LORD judges the peoples; Vindicate me, O LORD, according to my righteousness and my integrity that is in me. O let the evil of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous; For the righteous God tries the hearts and minds. My shield is with God, Who saves the upright in heart. God is a righteous judge, And a God who has indignation every day.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭7:6, 8-11‬ ‭NASB‬‬

3. Meditate and Pray these scriptures.

“Be gracious to me, O LORD, for I am pining away; Heal me, O LORD, for my bones are dismayed. Return, O LORD, rescue my soul; Save me because of Your lovingkindness. I am weary with my sighing; Every night I make my bed swim, I dissolve my couch with my tears. My eye has wasted away with grief; It has become old because of all my adversaries. Depart from me, all you who do iniquity, For the LORD has heard the voice of my weeping. The LORD has heard my supplication, The LORD receives my prayer.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭6:2, 4, 6-9‬ ‭NASB‬‬

4. Pray for repentance!

“If a man does not repent, He will sharpen His sword; He has bent His bow and made it ready. He has also prepared for Himself deadly weapons; He makes His arrows fiery shafts. Behold, he travails with wickedness, And he conceives mischief and brings forth falsehood. He has dug a pit and hollowed it out, And has fallen into the hole which he made. His mischief will return upon his own head, And his violence will descend upon his own pate. I will give thanks to the LORD according to His righteousness And will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭7:12-17‬ ‭NASB‬‬

5. Praise the Lord! Pray for repentance and salvation of the enemy! Pray for protection of children.

O LORD, our Lord, How majestic is Your name in all the earth, Who have displayed Your splendor above the heavens! From the mouth of infants and nursing babes You have established strength Because of Your adversaries, To make the enemy and the revengeful cease.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭8:1-2‬ ‭NASB‬‬

6. Pray these scriptures for our Nation!

The nations have sunk down in the pit which they have made; In the net which they hid, their own foot has been caught. The LORD has made Himself known; He has executed judgment. In the work of his own hands the wicked is snared. Higgaion Selah. The wicked will return to Sheol, Even all the nations who forget God. For the needy will not always be forgotten, Nor the hope of the afflicted perish forever. Arise, O LORD, do not let man prevail; Let the nations be judged before You. Put them in fear, O LORD; Let the nations know that they are but men. Selah.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭9:15-20‬ NASB

7. Pray for the Church to faithfully serve Jesus Christ to the end!

“When the Lamb broke the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God, and because of the testimony which they had maintained; and they cried out with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, will You refrain from judging and avenging our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” And there was given to each of them a white robe; and they were told that they should rest for a little while longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brethren who were to be killed even as they had been, would be completed also.”

‭‭Revelation‬ ‭6:9-11‬ ‭NASB‬‬
