Prayer

By Rebecca Clopp

“The Lord reigns, the peoples tremble! He sits enthroned above the cherubim, the earthquakes! The Lord is great in Zion, And He is exalted above all the peoples. May they praise Your great and awesome name;  Holy is He. The strength of the King loves justice; You have established order; You have executed justice and righteousness in Jacob. Exalt the Lord our God And worship at His footstool; Holy is He. Moses and Aaron were among His priests, And Samuel was among those who called on His name; They called upon the Lord and He answered them. He spoke to them in the pillar of cloud; They kept His testimonies And the statute that He gave them. Lord our God, You answered them; You were a forgiving God to them, And yet an avenger of their evil deeds. Exalt the Lord our God And worship at His holy hill, For the Lord our God is holy.”

Psalms 99:1-9 NASB

“I will sing of loving kindnesses and justice, To You, Lord, I will sing praises. I will carefully attend to the blameless way. When will You come to me? I will walk within my house in the integrity of my heart. I will set no worthless thing before my eyes; I hate the work of those who fall away; It shall not cling to me. A perverse heart shall leave me; I will know no evil. Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor, him I will destroy; I will not endure one who has a haughty look and an arrogant heart. My eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; One who walks in a blameless way is one who will serve me. One who practices deceit shall not dwell within my house; One who speaks lies shall not maintain his position before me. Every morning I will destroy all the wicked of the land, So as to eliminate from the city of the Lord all those who do injustice.” Pray for God’s help in your walk with Him.

Psalms 101:1-8 NASB

“Bless the Lord, O my soul, And all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, And do not forget any of His benefits; Who pardons all your guilt, Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with favor and compassion; Who satisfies your years with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle. The Lord performs righteous deeds And judgments for all who are oppressed.”

Psalms 103:1-6 NASB

“The Lord is compassionate and gracious, Slow to anger and abounding in mercy. He will not always contend with us, Nor will He keep His anger forever. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor rewarded us according to our guilty deeds. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him. As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our wrongdoings from us. Just as a father has compassion on his children, So the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him. For He Himself knows our form; He is mindful that we are nothing but dust.”

Psalms 103:8-14 NASB

“Yet those who wait for the Lord Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.”

Isaiah 40:31 NASB

Spend time talking with your compassionate Father in HEAVEN.

Righteous indignation against liars and slanderers.

“My heart is steadfast, God; I will sing, I will sing praises also with my soul. Awake, harp and lyre; I will awaken the dawn! I will give thanks to You, Lord, among the peoples, And I will sing praises to You among the nations. For Your mercy is great above the heavens, And Your truth reaches to the skies. Be exalted above the heavens, God, And may Your glory be above all the earth. So that Your beloved may be rescued, Save with Your right hand, and answer me! God has spoken in His holiness: “I will triumph, I will divide up Shechem, And measure out the Valley of Succoth. Gilead is Mine, Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim also is the helmet of My head; Judah is My scepter. Moab is My washbowl; I will throw My sandal over Edom; I will shout aloud over Philistia.” Who will bring me into the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom? God, have You Yourself not rejected us? And will You not go forth with our armies, God? Give us help against the enemy, For deliverance by man is worthless.”

”Psalms 108:1-12 NASB

   Give God the Glory

“Help me, Lord, my God; Save me according to Your mercy. And may they know that this is Your hand; You, Lord, have done it. They will curse, but You bless; When they arise, they will be ashamed, But Your servant will be glad. May my accusers be clothed with dishonor, And may they cover themselves with their own shame as with a robe. With my mouth, I will give thanks abundantly to the Lord, And I will praise Him in the midst of many. For He stands at the right hand of the needy, To save him from those who judge his soul.”

Psalms 109:26-31 NASB

Praise Him, Praise Him, Tell Of His Excellent Mercies!

JESUS IS THE MESSIAH “The Lord says to my Lord: “Sit at My right hand Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.” The Lord will stretch out Your strong scepter from Zion, saying, “Rule in the midst of Your enemies.” Your people will volunteer freely on the day of Your power; In holy splendor, from the womb of the dawn, Your youth are to You as the dew. The Lord has sworn and will not change His mind, “You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek.” The Lord is at Your right hand; He will shatter kings in the day of His wrath. He will judge among the nations, He will fill them with corpses, He will shatter the chief men over a broad country. He will drink from the brook by the wayside; Therefore He will lift up His head.” ‭‭

Psalms‬ ‭110:1-7‬ ‭NASB
