To MY Church Family!
It is with a JOYFUL spirit, yet a sad heart, that I write to you today. I am joyful, because nothing can stop our celebration of our Lord at Christmas. However, I am sad because our CANDLELIGHT CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICES will have to be canceled due to numerous COVID cases that have impacted many church members including our staff. A number of key people were exposed which means we need to be cautious.
We will also need to CANCEL SUNDAY SERVICES ON DECEMEBER 27. We were scheduled to have no Sunday School and one worship service at 11:00am, but this will be canceled as well. (Our Hispanic Fellowship is not impacted, so they will still be able to meet.) In addition, no livestream will be offered for this Sunday only.
Finally, DECEMBER GIVING & YEAR-END GIVING is vitally important to funding our ministry, so I want to ask you to still give as you have been led. The church will be completely disinfected, and the office will be open from December 29 till Noon on December 31. Please deliver gifts to the Church Office. We can come down and meet you in your car in the front drive as needed. All year-end gifts must be postmarked by December 31 or arrive by Noon to be counted in 2020.
Thank you, and I love each of you! Celebrate Jesus…set up a Christ Candle in your home and light it together…sing Christmas carols…and read the Christmas story!
