A Word from the Staff
SPECIAL CHURCH CONFERENCE – MAY 3
A Special Called Conference will be held on Sunday, May 3, following the conclusion of both the English and Spanish morning worship services, so that members of both congregations may participate.
The single item of business is a vote on the following proposal:
Shall First Baptist Church Corsicana consolidate its two English Sunday morning worship services into one and adopt a Sunday morning schedule of 9:15 AM Sunday School and 10:30 AM Worship, with the Spanish service and childcare adjusted by staff as needed? Yes / No.
Voting details:
- The vote will be taken by secret written ballot.
- Passage requires an 80% affirmative vote.
- The vote totals will be published in the weekly church bulletin within two weeks of the conference.
Can’t make it on May 3? You’re welcome to cast your ballot in the Church Office during the week before the conference. Early voting is available Monday–Friday, April 27–May 1, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
If the proposal passes, the new schedule will take effect on Sunday, June 7, allowing time for staff preparation and communication.

Ukraine Missions Effort
Ukraine Mission Effort
More than 5 million Ukrainian children have had to flee their homes. Many have witnessed destruction, death, and trauma no child should ever carry. In the Summer of 2026, Michael Gott International will host 4 two-week trauma therapy camps for Ukrainian children aged 12 – 16 in the quiet mountains of Northwest Bulgaria—far from the war zone, far from the noise—an opportunity to finally feel safe.
How to be Involved
Here’s how you can be involved:
- Pray for the camps, June 27 – August 21. We desperately need God’s blessing and provision.
- Camper Sponsorship – we estimate a cost of approximately $985 per camper to attend.
- Share this mission with others about this mission.
Serve Internationally
First Baptist Corsicana will work with Michael Gott International to send team members to help host the camp during the Summer. Anyone interested in more information can contact the church office.

Giving
Why we give: Giving supports the ministries, outreach programs, and day‑to‑day operations of our church so that we can worship, disciple, serve, and reach others for Christ. Your generosity makes ministry possible.
We believe generous giving is part of faithful worship — an opportunity to partner in God’s work through our church. If you would like to give offerings or support our ministries, here are the ways you can contribute:
- In‑Person — You may drop your tithes or offerings in the offering box located outside the Sanctuary.
- Online — Prefer to give electronically? You can give securely through our website. Click on a button below.
- Text Giving — For convenience, giving by text is also available. Text “GIVE” to 903-467-5806 to give quickly and securely.
- Mail or Drop‑Off — If you prefer, you may mail your contribution to the Church Office or drop it off during office hours.
