Peter was used by God to heal a man crippled from birth. Remember; This was the same Peter who had run like a scared child when he denied Jesus 3 times.
But Now…Peter, the lamb-hearted, has become Peter, the lion-hearted! He was now a rock of commitment, conviction, consistency, & courage. Don’t you want to be used like that?
This morning before you hit the floor running, ask God to transform you into the person that He wants you to be.

Ordinary People Are used by God

Obedient People Are Used By God
Pray for Extra Ordinary Filling Of God’s Spirit. Father God, Guide Us Through Your Holy Bible To Become Obedient And Useful. In The Power Of Jesus, We Pray In His Name. Amen!!!
The People God Uses Are Consecrated! Consecrated: “ Holy, Set Apart, Sacred, Sanctified .” He Uses People Who Are Related To Him. Think About David In The Old Testament… He Had A Relationship With God. “ A Man After God’s Own Heart!”…He Had A Heart For God.
Do you Have A Relationship With God? It Doesn’t Just Happen By Coming To Church. Just Because You Came From A Christian Family. You Have To Invite Jesus Christ Into Your Life. You Have To Spend Time With Him.
God Uses People Who Are Relying On Him.
“When Peter saw this, he said to them: “Fellow Israelites, why does this surprise you? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk?”

Peter Knew He Was Just An Ordinary Man, But A Crippled Man Had Been Healed Because He Had Relied On The Power Of An Extraordinary GOD!
Let The Word Of God Speak To Your Heart As You Pray.
The People God Uses Are Committed! They Are Committed In Spite Of Obstacles! They Are Committed In Spite Of Opposition!
Peter And John Faced Great Opposition! The People They Came Face To Face With Were The Very People Who Had Jesus Killed!
Yet…Filled With The Holy Spirit, They Became Brave, Strong, And True! They Are Committed In Spite Of The Opportunities.
We Don’t Really Think Of It ….But The Truth Is That Peter Had The Chance To Walk Away, But He Didn’t. He Had His Priorities In Order.
You See…To Him, The Main Thing Was The Glory Of Jesus Christ! He Had Made Up His Mind That Jesus Would Come First, No Matter What! This Should Be The Desire Of Every Child Of God.

Father God In Heaven We PRAISE You! Lord We Bless Your Holy Name. Help Us As Your Children To Put You First In All Things. May You Be Glorified In All That We Do. In The Mighty Name Of Jesus, We Unite In Prayer This Day. Amen!
The People God Uses Are Courageous! They Are Willing To Accept The Risks. It’s Obvious That Peter Was Willing To Put His Life On The Line For The Glory Of God. If The Lord Hadn’t Come Through For Him And If The Lord Hadn’t Been Protecting Him, Peter would Have Died! We Should Consider The Turtle When It Comes To Being Used By God. “ Unless He Sticks His Neck Out, He Never Really Gets Anywhere!” They Are Willing To Accept The RIDICULE!
God Is Looking For People Who Are willing To Listen To The Taunts Of Opponents And The Jabs Of Critics And Never Pull Back Or Be Silent.
They Are Willing To Accept The RESULTS! What Looks Like Defeat In Our Eyes, May Just Be Victory In The Eyes Of Jesus! Do You Want God To Use You? Spend Time In Prayer And Ask The Lord How He Wants To Use You.
God Used Peter And He Can Use You!
“Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them:
“Rulers and elders of the people! If we are being called to account today for an act of kindness shown to a man who was lame and are being asked how he was healed, then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. Jesus is “ ‘the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.’ Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”
When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.”
