A Word from the Staff
Pastor Search Committee
We are excited about who God has appointed for our Pastor Search Committee. You will find a card outside the Sanctuary listing those who were chosen for this task. We ask that you commit yourself to pray for this committee not just today, but every day until we have a new Pastor. This is an important job, and they need prayer for the decision they will make for our church.

Bus Ministry
Team members provide transportation for those who want to attend Bible study or worship services.
Good News Club
Team members help lead a Bible club for various CISD elementary schools in the fall and spring. To help, contact Michelle Purifoy.

Safety Team
Team members work to provide a safe environment for church members during worship services and other church events.
Good News Closet
Team members distribute clothing items and hygiene essentials to patrons of our Good News Café.
Children
SHOUT Choir
October 12 at 11:00AM
Our children’s choir will be singing in the 11:00AM worship service. This choir meets weekly on Wednesdays during Cultivate28.
Kidspraise
Offered at 11:00AM Service
Parents should register kids on the landing before service or when dismissed. Pickup is on the 4th floor. Activity packets are also available for kids outside the Sanctuary doors.
We do not offer Kidspraise on the last Sunday of the month (October 26).
Sunday School
9:45AM on the 2nd & 4th Floors
We have classes for children from birth to sixth grade. Register in the nursery on the 2nd floor (preschool kids) or on the 3rd Floor landing (elementary kids).

Our midweek discipleship for children is taking a break for the summer. We will follow CISD schedule.

We will return at approximately 4:00PM. Tickets at the gate $7 per person. Sign up in the Welcome Center. $3 per person to ride the bus. This year only clear bags less than 9 x 10 x 12 inches can be taken in the gate.
Body Recall

Three times a week (M-W-F) we offer a class that emphasizes strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. The class meets in the Family Life Center and is led by Jimmie Buchanan.

Men’s Fall Retreat

Join us for a one-night event with men of many walks of life. There will be plenty of food, games, biblical teaching, and fellowship. Registration is $20.
