Worship Guide
First Baptist Corsicana
Welcome! We’re grateful you’ve chosen to worship with us today.
If you’re visiting, we would love the opportunity to connect and get to know you better.
A Word from the Staff
HE IS RISEN!
He is risen! What a joy it is to gather together on this Easter Sunday and celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. His sacrificial love — poured out on the cross and triumphant over the grave — is the foundation of everything we are as a church.
Last week our Prayer Guide invited us to seek the Father’s will together. We prayed that our church would be a light in our community, that we would trust and obey Him, and that we would walk with boldness, purity, and compassion — reflecting the very life of Jesus in all we do.
This week we continue to pray for our Pastor Search Committee. As you use Guide #2, we are walking through Psalm 1 together — asking God to make us people who refuse the counsel of the world, who delight in His Word day and night, and who are planted deep by His streams of living water. Pray for each member of the Search Committee by name, that the Lord would grant them wisdom, insight, and clear direction as they seek His will for our next pastor.
May the same power that raised Christ from the dead be at work in you this week.

By this we know what love is: Jesus laid down His life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.

Ministry Opportunities
Card Ministry
Team members pray daily over staff members of Carroll and Sam Houston Elementary schools. In addition, they prepare encouraging cards once a month. Cards are due this week! Place your card in the brightly colored box in the Welcome Center.
Guest Services
We are looking for smiling faces to welcome families, students, and children to our facility. We need people to assist families with check-in, collect information from guests, and help guide visitors to the appropriate class or group.

Ukraine Missions Effort
Ukraine Mission Effort
More than 5 million Ukrainian children have had to flee their homes. Many have witnessed destruction, death, and trauma no child should ever carry. In the Summer of 2026, Michael Gott International will host 4 two-week trauma therapy camps for Ukrainian children aged 12 – 16 in the quiet mountains of Northwest Bulgaria—far from the war zone, far from the noise—an opportunity to finally feel safe.
How to be Involved
Here’s how you can be involved:
- Pray for the camps, June 27 – August 21. We desperately need God’s blessing and provision.
- Camper Sponsorship – we estimate a cost of approximately $985 per camper to attend.
- Share this mission with others about this mission.
Serve Internationally
First Baptist Corsicana will work with Michael Gott International to send team members to help host the camp during the Summer. Anyone interested in more information can contact the church office.

Meditate on God’s Word
Know therefore that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps His covenant of loving devotion for a thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His commandments.
Deuteronomy 7:9
Giving
Why we give: Giving supports the ministries, outreach programs, and day‑to‑day operations of our church so that we can worship, disciple, serve, and reach others for Christ. Your generosity makes ministry possible.
We believe generous giving is part of faithful worship — an opportunity to partner in God’s work through our church. If you would like to give offerings or support our ministries, here are the ways you can contribute:
- In‑Person — You may drop your tithes or offerings in the offering box located outside the Sanctuary.
- Online — Prefer to give electronically? You can give securely through our website. Click on a button below.
- Text Giving — For convenience, giving by text is also available. Text “GIVE” to 903-467-5806 to give quickly and securely.
- Mail or Drop‑Off — If you prefer, you may mail your contribution to the Church Office or drop it off during office hours.
