Worship Guide
First Baptist Corsicana
Welcome to worship! We’re delighted to have you with us.
If you are visiting, please let us know how we can serve you and support you in your faith journey.
A Word from the Staff
WHY DO WE GATHER AS GOD’S PEOPLE?
We gather because God designed us for relationship with Him and one another. Through regular worship and fellowship, the Holy Spirit shapes in us a HEART for Christ.
HONOR God with praise and devotion. Declare His worth and find your true joy in Him (Psalm 103:1).
ENCOURAGE one another through love and compassion. Share burdens, offer smiles, and remind each other of God’s faithfulness (Hebrews 10:24-25).
ADVANCE in spiritual maturity. Through teaching, prayer, and reflection on God’s Word, you grow deeper in faith and closer to Christ (2 Peter 3:18).
RECOGNIZE the needs around you and step out in service. Ministry flows naturally as you use your gifts to build up the body (Philippians 2:4).
TELL others about Jesus—through your words, your life, and the overflow of His love in you (Acts 1:8).
As we gather, Christ meets us, transforms us, and sends us out renewed. Let’s keep showing up—together—for His
glory and our good.

For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast.

Ministry Opportunities
School Card Ministry
Team members pray daily over staff members of Carroll and Sam Houston Elementary schools. In addition, they prepare encouraging cards once a month. Cards are due this week! Place your card in the brightly colored box in the Welcome Center.
Guest Services
We are looking for smiling faces to welcome families, students, and children to our facility. We need people to assist families with check-in, collect information from guests, and help guide visitors to the appropriate class or group.

Giving
Why we give: Giving supports the ministries, outreach programs, and day‑to‑day operations of our church so that we can worship, disciple, serve, and reach others for Christ. Your generosity makes ministry possible.
We believe generous giving is part of faithful worship — an opportunity to partner in God’s work through our church. If you would like to give offerings or support our ministries, here are the ways you can contribute:
- In‑Person — You may drop your tithes or offerings in the offering box located outside the Sanctuary.
- Online — Prefer to give electronically? You can give securely through our website. Click on a button below.
- Text Giving — For convenience, giving by text is also available. Text “GIVE” to 903-467-5806 to give quickly and securely.
- Mail or Drop‑Off — If you prefer, you may mail your contribution to the Church Office or drop it off during office hours.
