Reflection
You don’t get to choose what’s going to happen in your life. But you can choose how you respond. Will you be a critic, a pessimist, or a doubter? Will you face the future expecting the worst? Will you face your future being ungracious to other people? Will you live for the glory of yourself? Or, will you face the future with gratitude, generosity, and graciousness? Which one do you think will make you happier?
Scripture Memory
Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
2 Corinthians 9.6-7
Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving.
