We are hosting a Community Bible Study Impact Group in Corsicana. The hope is that we will build a strong foundation for a CBS Evening Co-Ed class. We invite you to join us on Tuesday, January 13 at 6:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Corsicana. We will start a 6-week study of the book of Colossians. Remember, this study is interdenominational and all believers in Christ are welcome, so invite a friend to join you.

We will be using the Engaging God’s Word – Colossians which is available on Amazon. If you haven’t already purchased your book, please do so NOW so that you can have time to prepare the first lesson. The first lesson is a short overview of Colossians with the focus being, Jesus is Lord of All. Please read through the first 16 pages (they are very short pages) and answer the questions for lesson 1 BEFORE you come on Tuesday the 13. We will discuss our answers and pray together.

We are trusting God’s timing to grow our numbers and to identify and develop class leadership over the coming months so that, God willing, we can officially launch the class during 2026. Please be praying expectantly as we step out in faith, pursuing God and desiring spiritual transformation through His Word.

Course Overview

Colossians is a letter written to combat error in the church. Paul pointed the believers at Colossae to Jesus as the Head of His body, the church. Paul also told the Colossian believers that they had fullness in Christ. The questions in this course are thought provoking and challenging.
