A Word from the Staff
PASTOR SEARCH COMMITTEE
This morning during the welcome we will hear a report from our Pastor Search Committee. They have prepared a survey for the church to complete. This will be used to help them in their search for a new pastor. In addition, they will share at our Church Conference tonight.
Praise and Feast | WEDNESDAY | 6pm
We look forward to joining together as a church body to thank God for his blessings and fellowship over a wonderful meal. This year we will start off the evening with a time of praise in our Sanctuary. Afterwards, we will move to the Family Life Center for our meal together.
Gratitude Cards: This year, we’re inviting everyone to share thanksgiving stories. Whether it’s answered prayers, family milestones, personal blessings, or daily provisions—we’d love to celebrate God’s faithfulness. Pick up a Gratitude Card outside the sanctuary, share what you’re grateful for, and drop it in the basket at the Praise & Feast ticket table in the Welcome Center.
Operation Christmas Child
We are still collecting shoeboxes for OCC. You have until next Sunday to return your box. Also, we need some help delivering the shoeboxes to Athens. If you can help, see Jeff Fitzhugh.

Bus Ministry
Team members provide transportation for those who want to attend Bible study or worship services.
Good News Club
Team members help lead a Bible club for various CISD elementary schools in the fall and spring. To help, contact Michelle Purifoy.

Safety Team
Team members work to provide a safe environment for church members during worship services and other church events.
Good News Closet
Team members distribute clothing items and hygiene essentials to patrons of our Good News Café.

Kidspraise
Offered at 11:00AM Service
Parents should register kids on the landing before service or when dismissed. Pickup is on the 4th floor. Activity packets are also available for kids outside the Sanctuary doors.
We do not offer Kidspraise on the last Sunday of the month (November 30).
Sunday School
9:45AM on the 2nd & 4th Floors
We have classes for children from birth to sixth grade. Register in the nursery on the 2nd floor (preschool kids) or on the 3rd Floor landing (elementary kids).

4th Thursday of the Month
Join us once a month for dinner at a surprise location (within 45 minutes) where men can gather for food, conversation, and building relationships.
There will be no Mystery Dinner in November or December.

Sanctuary Flowers
The sanctuary flowers are given in memory of Beatrice and Jake Eley by their daughter, Mrs. Lynda Housley and family. If you would like to give the flowers for Nov. 30, please contact Becky Thurston
Poinsettias
We have begun selling poinsettias to decorate the Welcome Center. You can order on in memory or honor of a loved one. The cost is $20. Envelopes are in the church pew pockets or contact the office.
