Seek the Lord while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way And the unrighteous man his thoughts; And let him return to the Lord, And He will have compassion on him, And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon. “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.
Isaiah 55:6-8
3 “To the angel of the church in Sardis write: He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars, says this: ‘I know your deeds, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. 2 Wake up, and strengthen the things that remain, which were about to die; for I have not found your deeds completed in the sight of My God. 3 So remember what you have received and heard; and keep it, and repent. Therefore if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come to you. 4 But you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their garments; and they will walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. 5 He who overcomes will thus be clothed in white garments; and I will not erase his name from the book of life, and I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. 6 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’
Revelation 3:1-6
“Are we wearing masks? Pretending to be more spiritual than we are?……There was a time in my life when Jesus rebuked me……I had a reputation for being alive. I could lead people to faith in Jesus. Yet He said, ‘Anne, on the inside I see you are dying.’ The reason?
Prayerlessness. He told me what He told Sardis: ‘Wake up! Stop neglecting prayer’.”

May my prayer be counted as incense before You; The lifting up of my hands as the evening offering.
Psalm 141:2
Father guide us and direct us to prayer that is as incense before You. Father remind us to keep prayer time ever a part of our lives. Father help us to guide our children and grandchildren and those around us the importance of prayer lifted to You. I pray for the church, our cities, our state and our nation. In this time of distress bring us to our knees praying for forgiveness, healing and Your Word proclaimed and heard. In the name of the loving Jesus I pray, amen.
