As summer trips, camps, and events wind down, we’re excited to look ahead to fall activities and reconnect as a church family.
Fall Kick-Off: Aug 17 at 9:00AM
Join us for our Fall Kick-Off featuring:
- Breakfast (eggs, bacon, waffles, juice)
- Games and crafts (too much fun to believe)
- Prizes (Ninja Creamie, Switch Game Console, Gift Cards)
- Promotion day for all students and kids!
As we approach the Fall Kick-Off we hope you will recognize this perfect opportunity to grow our church family:
- Reach out to missing friends: Look around your Sunday School class and invite anyone who has been absent to reconnect.
- Invite someone new: Extend a warm invitation to neighbors, friends, or family members to join Bible study or worship with us.
Midweek Programs Resume
On August 20, our regular Wednesday evening schedule returns:
- Classes for adults, students, and children
- ESL classes
- Family meal
Church Conference: Tonight at 6:00PM
Please join us TONIGHT for a special Church Conference, where we will address specifics about the Pastoral Search Committee process as well as nomination qualifications. Please continue to pray with us over this search process.

Hope Center Shower

We are sponsoring a shower for the Hope Center. You might want to take advantage of the Back-to-School Tax Free weekend (Aug 8–10) to purchase some items.
You can pick up a flyer with gift ideas in the Welcome Center.
Bring donations to the Welcome Center from now until September 7.

Team members help lead a Bible club for various CISD elementary schools in the fall and spring. We need two or three more volunteers.

Begins: Tuesday, Aug 12
We are looking for additional compassionate, Christian team members to help with several roles; training is provided.
Needs include: hospitality, small group discussion, promotion, and recruitment. Contact John or Donna Greenman for more information.
Guest Services
We are looking for smiling faces to welcome families, students, and children to our facility. We need people to assist families with check-in, collect information from guests, and help guide visitors to the appropriate class or group.

Offered at 11:00AM Service
Parents should register kids on the landing before service or when dismissed. Pick-up is on the 4th floor. Activity packets are also available for kids outside the Sanctuary doors.
We do not offer Kidspraise on last Sunday of the month (August 31).
Sunday School
9:45AM on the 2nd & 4th Floors
We have classes for children from birth to sixth grade. Register in the nursery (preschool kids) or on the 3rd Floor landing (elementary kids).

Our midweek discipleship for children is taking a break for the summer. It will resume on Wednesday, August 20.
